Overview

Let’s start the New Year by brushing away the cobwebs with something simple but effective — much like my good self.

From the Brewery we head past the Trout Farm to Whitelee Mill Bridge, before a coffee stop near a farm at Hollinhall. We then pass through Rushton Spencer to join the Staffordshire Way and the Gritstone Trail. After crossing the A523 again, we head towards Barleighford Bridge, with lunch shortly afterwards. The return route takes us on to Wincle Grange, using a relatively new footbridge over a stream, before emerging near the Ship Inn and returning to the Brewery.
If your usual group walk is fully booked, you are very welcome to join us. Please bring a flask and a packed lunch. We plan one stop for a drink and another for lunch.

We will set off promptly at 10.00am, so please arrive in good time.
