Overview

Easy walk but expect mud.  Bring poles.

The route takes us across Alderley Edge golf course, across fields near the cemetery, past Old Chorley Hall, along tracks and fields to Nether Alderley church. From there we will briefly go up Bradford Lane and then cut across to White Barn Road.  We then cross Macclesfield Road to the Edge but will not go to the car park and toilets but instead will head to Mottram Road and cut across footpaths and fields to go under the railway line near the Alderley bypass.  Return to start point via Fulshaw Park.

Scenic walk with lots of tracks.

No dogs please.  Livestock in fields.
