Overview

This leisurely walk starts and finishes at Danzey railway station deep in the Warwickshire countryside. We follow field paths and bridleways through ancient woodland, with distant views of the Cotswolds, to the lovely  village of Tanworth-in-Arden with its village green and ancient church, where singer-songwriter Nick Drake and motor racing Mike Hailwood are buried. We will break for lunch in Tanworth-in-Arden then return to Danzey via the grounds of 17th century Umberslade Hall. There are only 3 stiles on this walk but there are a couple of very muddy patches. Joint walk with Sandwell Ramblers and Wolverhampton Ramblers.
