We are the Ross-on-Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Through woodland to Clearwell and then down to Valley Brook before heading up to the Cathedral in the Forest for lunch at Newland. Return is via Coleford and the old railway track to Dark Hill Ironworks. Woodland and field tracks and quiet roads. Uneven under foot at one point and some moderate climbing.
Several stiles.
Bring a packed lunch.

Coming from the cross roads in the centre of Coleford heading towards Staunton on B4428, turn left onto Victoria Rd. Follow this all the way into the recreation ground and the car park is just past the bowling club.
