Overview

A walk with Gerry around Darley Bridge area. Mainly low level over Oker and Wensley village fields. Some undulation but nothing very steep. We leave Darley Bridge and cross towards Oker before heading for the meeting with Wensley Dale. Crossing at Wensley village we drop steeply into Clough Wood before returning to Darley Bridge.

4.5 miles and should finish about 12.30.

Risk assessment 

Main health and safety concerns will be tree roots now slippery after recent rain particularly on descent through Clough Wood. One field of disinterested cows encountered and four minor roads to be crossed.
