Overview

Join us for a mid-winter walk through some of Surrey’s finest countryside. Starting from Denbies Hillside Car Park, we pass St Barnabas Church, "the cathedral in the woods," before joining the North Downs Way, with fine views above Denbies Vineyard.

The route continues through open fields above Bagden Farm, where we will pause briefly for an al fresco tea or coffee. We then head on to Polesden Lacey, with time for lunch in the National Trust café (or a picnic for those who prefer).

Our return takes us via Yew Tree Farm and across Ranmore Common, finishing with a balcony-style walk back to the car park.

If you wish to join us, please contact the leader by 7 pm on Friday 16th January. 07749 700427

The walk is moderate, with a few potentially muddy sections, so if you have walking poles, please bring them.
