There are some steep ups and downs on this walk which is bisected by the Cirencester Road, but the reward is magnificent views and beautiful countryside. We follow Daisy Bank Road, crossing the Lilley Brook golf course and the A435, and ascend Ravensgate Hill. Here we can look down on the huge natural amphitheatre, with California Farm at its centre. A further ascent to the top of Wistley hill, then we follow the path to the Devil's Chimney. Finally a steep descent to the car park. Walking poles recommended!
Morning drinks stop & picnic lunch.
