We are the Mid Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from Oakamoor we will walk along the old Churnet Valley line to the Ramblers Retreat. Then we will be walking up the beautiful Dimmingsdale Valley to Oldfurnace, where they had a Time Team dig. After Oldfurnace there is a short climb on a lane before we get to a driveway on our right. Another short climb giving good views across 2 valleys, we use the top track giving good views over Dimmingsdale before descending to the Ramblers Retreat. Possibly another break there before returning to the cars along the old railway track.
The car park is just off Mill Road Oakamoor. No stiles, approximately 550 feet of climbing.
