This is a linear walk. We are meeting outside Stocco in Norden where walkers will sort themselves in groups of 4 (or possibly 2 or 3). Each group will have 2 drivers (A&B). The A driver will take the group to the start of the walk (Owd Betts). At the end of the walk the B driver will take the group back to the start of the walk. (Please try to bring a couple of plastic bags in case you are getting a lift and need to cover muddy boots!)
We are following the Ashworth Moor Reservoir dam to Ashworth Road and the Rochdale Way before turning off to Red Lumb then dropping down to Royds Brook and Over Town Lane. We will cross Greenbooth Reservoir dam and pass Woodhouse Farm to enter Norden via Pitshouse Lane.
Please note that dogs (other than assistance dogs) are not permitted on our walks.
Meet for roadside parking on Edenfield Road, Norden (opposite Stocco Italian restaurant)
Walk starts from Owd Betts public house, Edenfield Road (road between Norden and Edenfield)
Walk ends where cars are parked, opposite Stocco restaurant in Norden
