Overview

This is a moderate walk with plenty of undulation but taken at a leisurely pace. Stunning 360 degree views from the higher paths across as far as The Cheviots.

Starting through Wilton Lodge Park we head up to Whitehaugh and onto the Cross Borders Drove Road. Then forestry tracks up to and alongside Drinkstone Hill and back towards Hawick along the Borders Abbey Way.

Terrain is a mix of quiet roads, forestry tracks and fields.
