Overview

From Little Bollington we walk for 1 mile westwards along the Bridgewater Canal before crossing fields and a short road section to the Trans Pennine Trail.

After 1½ miles, we rejoin the Bridgewater Canal towpath before following footpaths to the deer park at NT Dunham Massey, there were lots of deer roaming around on the recce.

After passing through the park we return to Little Bollington for liquid refreshment at the Swan with Two Nicks. Mince pies and damson gin may be available to supplement lunch!

Please notify the walk leader both if going to meeting place or direct to start.
