Overview

This will be a 10 mile walk from Dunkeld train station to the Pine Cone viewpoint in the Craigvinian Forest. On a good day there is a magnificent view to be had from the viewpoint along the Tay valley. For the majority of the route you can expect good forest roads.

We will return to Dunkeld train station in the direction from which we came but not necessarily on the same paths.

Note: The finish time for the walk is an approximation.
