We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
This 7 mile circular riverside walk starts from outside the "Three Horseshoes Pub" in Laleham, passing through Laleham Park before joining the Thames Path to Shepperton Lock. Enjoy an al fresco late morning break at Shepperton Lock with a flask of mulled wine or coffee and a mince pie. If you prefer an indoor setting, you can indulge in a hot drink at the Ferry Café. The walk will finish back at the pub in Laleham, where there’s the option to join us for lunch. The pub offers a main course menu and light lunches such as baguettes.
I will be booking tables for groups of 6, so if you’d like to be included in the pub booking, please let us know by 7pm on Thursday 6th November. If you only wish to join the morning walk, please contact us by 7pm the evening before. You can text or call Sue on 07749 700427.
We will meet outside the Three Horseshoes pub (25 Shepperton Road). There is limited street parking available nearby and plenty of parking at Abbey Drive Car Park in Laleham (TW18 1SR).
