Walking from the market square of Easingwold, we follow the Foss Walk to Oulston. On a mix of quiet country lanes and across some farmland, we enter the Howardian Hills on the way. There is a short climb into Oulston village. Heading in the direction of Husthwaite we will stop for lunch, after which the going is slightly more undulating across farmland before heading back to Easingwold. If we are lucky enough to have a clear day, there should be some far-reaching views of the Vale of York and Harrogate direction.
After the walk there is a choice of a few pubs or cafés surrounding the marketplace where we can grab a drink! 🍻
Dogs are welcome on the walk 🐶 but should be kept on a lead, we are likely to encounter livestock 🐮
Free car parking 🅿️ next to Easingwold Market Place and also at the Galtres Centre a couple of minutes walk away.
Public toilets 🚻 available near the marketplace.
There are regular buses 🚌 from York to Easingwold, we recommend getting the 31X from Exhibition Square at 0950: https://reliancebuses.co.uk/
