We are the Devon Bootlegs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk starts in Ottery St Mary and makes its way through the town before heading out through the countryside on our way to the lovely village of Gittisham and then onward again to Fenny Bridges. We will return to the start following the river Otter.
This is a mostly moderate walk with a couple of quite long steep climbs. The ground is often wet and muddy so boots are definitely recommended.
The walk starts in the Canaan Way Carpark where it’s free to park on a Sunday.
We will be stopping at about 3/4 way point for a visit to the pub! Seems rude not to really…
