Overview

A brisk walk along a section of the Capital Ring, starting at a Grade II station through Highgate Woods, Parklands walk, Finsbury Park, Woodberry Down nature reserve, then Clissold and Abney parks.  Some steep terrain in the woods and it may be muddy. Note: the pace will be brisk.

Lunch: Take a snack for a brief stop en route.  There are many café and pub options in Stoke Newington at the end of the walk.

Train: East Finchley Station (Zone 3) is served by the Northern Line (Barnet Branch). Return from Stoke Newington (Zone 2, London Overground service to Liverpool St).

Please note: many factors can affect how long a walk takes and the finish time given is an estimate only.
