We are the Alton Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We are starting from East Meon and walking across the fields to Drayton and through the woods at Halnaker Lane, before turning off towards Whitewool Farm and pond. We will climb the fairly steep field up to the edge of Old Winchester Hill and along to meet the Monarch's Way. The route will return along the South Downs Way and Small Down.
Bring a snack and a drink.
There are some slopes. Some areas may be muddy and there are a few stiles. Please wear sturdy footwear.
