Overview

The walk follows the paths, tracks and lanes through the fields and countryside to the East of Sonning Common.  Leaving the carpark, we pass through the southern edge of Sonning Common before turning South-East making for Binfield Health and Shiplake Row.  Here, we turn North, then West, passing through Mays Green, before skirting Henley and turning South-West to return to the carpark.

The going will vary from good to soft/wet, with some short, but very muddy stretches – gaiters and walking poles are recommended for those that use them.  There are 3 stiles which, whilst in varying states of repair, are in solid condition. There is one quite steep descent.
