A moderately hilly but pretty easy walk in lovely countryside with some outstanding views.
From Ebrington we follow a gently undulating route, through fields and woods, to eventually circle round the back of Foxcote Manor. We then make a steady ascent, past Foxcote Farm, to reach a broad ridge, from where we can enjoy some fabulous views. Carrying on past some radio masts, we then descend steadily on a stony track down to Hidcote Manor, where we will stop for a snack break. From there we continue, through the hamlet of Hidcote Boyce and across fields, back to Ebrington.
(See weblink below for a map of the route)
Most of the walk is on field paths and tracks, plus a little bit on quiet roads. There are only a few stiles and no particularly tricky or steep bits. Its a little while since the route has been recced so there is the possibility some parts could be a bit overgrown Likely to meet sheep but cattle less likely. Suitable for well-behaved dogs on leads.
Possible post walk refreshments: Ebrington Arms (adjacent to the car park); Vegetable Matters Farm Shop and Cafe (approx. 1/4 mile further down May Lame)
Approx. travel times: Evesham 26 mins; Pershore 33 mins
