Overview

A circular walk starting (due to Car parking issues) at Hungerford Common but crossing the town to the north  and then using the rarely used path from Eddington  Bridge over the Kennet up towards Leverton and New Hayward Farm.  We then walk west across the top of the Chilton Estate and down to the junction om the edge of Chilton Foliat, returning east along the lane to Leverton and then re-crossing the river and then over the shoulder of the hill south to the Bath Road. We cross the canal and the River Dun to the towpath and return to the Common via the station.
