Overview

Stockport centre to Edgeley, Adswood and Cheadle with option of return to Stockport Bus Station by bus from Cheadle, or walk on to East Didsbury tram stop. The terrain is urban but with as many green spaces as possible, ie parks, recreation grounds, cemeteries, the path alongside the Lady Brook / Micker Brook - but also a few back streets & alleyways. There are some steps and a couple of (not too challenging) uphill sections early on. Otherwise very level. No stiles and almost all paths are paved; special footwear hardly needed.
