Rose Hill to Marple. From Rose Hill station, we set off along the Middlewood Way, through the woods then cross Marple golf course, onto the Forest and Peak Canal. We make a short stop at Oldknows Lime Kilns then back on canal to the Memorial park for lunch. Following Marple Locks to Brabyn's park we walk along the canal again, cross the park to the Iron Bridge ( made by Salford Iron Works) and follow the River Goyt back to Marple station.
It is pretty flat apart from the woods and golf course, no stiles, mainly paths.
