Overview

C WALK DESCRIPTION: Distance  6 miles, Ascent 600 ft, Descent 600 ft. We start at St Mary’s Church Enville. The coach will park on the church car park by kind permission of Reverend Richard Clarkson. The walk begins by  entering the grounds of Enville estate passing Enville Hall and Temple Pool. A gradual ascent then takes us to the top of The Sheepwalks with far reaching views all round of beautiful countryside including the  Clee Hills. A steady descent leads to a quiet lane and our route takes us along fields with more lovely views. We make our return to Enville at White Hill farm by joining The Staffordshire Way back to Enville Hall not forgetting to view the ice house on our way. At the end of the walk there should be time for refreshment at The Cat pub or the tea shop in Enville. A short walk over the field then takes us back to the coach on the church car park. The fare is £15.
