Overview

This route is based on a walk from The Chiltern Hills book written by the late Les Ham.  Meet 10am at the free Recreation Ground Car Park, Ewelme, which is at the junction of The Street and Parsons Lane.  A leisurely countryside walk using part of the Chilterns Way and The Ridgeway, we will pause for a DIY coffee stop mid morning.  Then pass through “The Ewelme Estate” and head towards St Botolph Church where we will stop for a picnic lunch.  After lunch we will continue along the Ridgeway which has far reaching views over the surrounding areas before heading back towards Ewelme.
