Heading out of Ripley Green, we head towards Wisley village going past the RHS gardens and the Common. We will then pick up the River Wey at Pyford Lock and follow this down past John Dunne's house, Walsham Gates, Newark Priory, Newark Lock and Papercourt Lock.
We then leave the river heading across Send Marsh and passing Papercourt Lake back into Ripley where hopefully we can have a cup of tea.
This is flat walk and depending upon the weather, the tow path can be muddy in places, so boots and poles may be useful.
We do have to cross a couple of roads - but otherwise we are on the towpath or footpaths.
Well behaved dogs are welcome
Please bring a picnic lunch and also mid morning snacks/coffee.
Toilets/refreshments available at the end of the walk
