This is a varied and interesting walk along part of the Minster Way in flat but attractive East Yorkshire countryside. Meeting at Watton layby we catch the 1.07pm bus to Scorborough. Taking care to cross the busy main road, we head towards Lockington on the Minster Way, passing by the lovely church and though the attractive village. Leaving the village on quiet country roads we revert to footpaths through Southbelt Plantation to another attractive village, Kilnwick, and another lovely church. Shortly after leaving the village we also say goodbye to the Minster Way and head back towards Watton on a footpath next to a stream and a wood
