Overview

This popular open countryside walk begins in the large layby at Bainton. 

Walking through the scenic village of Bainton ,with its historic church St Andrew's ,we procede down Applegarth and Neswick Lane.

From here we take the footpath towards Bracken and established Wedding Wood experiencing part of the Minster Way

It is in this area we will have a coffee stop and return back to the car park via Burn Butt's and Oldfield Lane (Track)

🥾The walk is mostly flat, but also has gradual uphill climbs in places.There is some road walking, but is mostly along well established hedgerows and attractive country side. 

🐕  Dogs are welcome but on short leads please.

👬As always new walkers are welcome.Please make yourselves known to the walk leader who will be able to supply an ICE Card. ( In case of Emergency card)
