A Ramblers group with walks of about 4 - 6 miles. We explore the beautiful Kent countryside from within the Tonbridge and Malling area and, occasionally, further afield.
The walk will start from The Plough pub, Riverside, Eynsford. We will climb up one side of the Darent Valley, passing Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation (temporarily closed to protect their birds from avian flu) walking through the woods to the top of the park, coming down with some astonishing views of the beautifuf Darent Valley. There will be approximately one mile of quiet lane walking on the return, passing by Lullingstone Castle, and the Lullingstone Roman Villa.
Park either in the village car park (often full) or tidily along Riverside, opposite the Plough.
Briefing will take place opposite the Plough pub.
Dogs welcome.
Suggest booking if food required at the pub post-walk.
Public toilets available at the Lullingstone Visitor Centre.
