A Ramblers group with walks of about 4 - 6 miles. We explore the beautiful Kent countryside from within the Tonbridge and Malling area and, occasionally, further afield.

Explore the meadows and woods of the North Downs escarpment with extensive views over 18th century Chevening House, starting from the village of Knockholt.
There is some road walking, 3 stiles and 3 hills one of which towards the end is particularly challenging. You may see some wildlife, deer and red kite and we walk through sheep fields so dogs on short leads. It will be muddy .
Nibble break 2/3 of way round at St Botolph’s church, Chevening. This will be shortly before our challenging ascent to the North Downs escarpment.
We will start from the Three Horseshoes, Main Road, Knockholt, TN14 7LD. Those wishing to eat afterwards can park in their small park or if not park tidily in the surrounding roads.
A table has been reserved and the pub would prefer that we pre order our food so menus will be available before we leave .
