Overview

Walk from Felsham Village Hall towards the edge of Bradfield Woods, then towards Bulls Wood near Cockfield, then finally towards Thorpe Wood before returning to Felsham. We'll walk at the edges of woods and fields and along some minor roads.  The ground should be firm under foot at this time of year. There are no stiles however many of the field edges are a little wild and overgrown.

This walk replaces a slightly different planned walk from Bradfield Woods Nature Reserve due to anticipated parking problems at this time of year. It is also a much shorter alternative to the Wool Towns Walk being put on today by the Group.

If the Village Hall car park is full, additional parking should be available at the recreational ground - a mere 5 minute walk away.

If hot weather is expected, please ensure you bring a drink with you and perhaps a hat.
