Turning to Car Park is on right from Whaley Bridge ,approx 1/2 ml after Shady Oak pub on A5004. Before a bend. A red sign for speed bumps is only marker at turning into the lane. Anyone driving from Macclesfield, please check if B5470 is open at Whaley Bridge, you may have to leave at Disley & join A6.
5ml Short walk. Easy /moderate. On good tracks around the reservoir with nice views. A long slow climb near the start then easy. Only a few stiles near start but one quite high & awkward.
