Overview

An undulating walk from Ferry Lane, Medmenham through Beech woods, so shade in the event of sunny weather. Field paths, a tunnel, a weir, golden gates, a mill stream, then more field paths before returning to the river. No stiles but some inclines.

Meet at the end of Ferry Lane, Medmenham, near the River slipway. Park considerately along the lane, avoiding driveways and farm gates etc. For those unfamiliar with this starting point, look out for the Dog and Badger Restaurant ( temporarily closed) and the church on the corner of Ferry Lane/A4155 Henley Road.
