Overview

A walk exploring woods and hills near Bontddu and the Mawddach Foreshore. With uncertainty as to what the winter weather will bring, leader Henry is keeping his route options open. If conditions allow, we will venture up via Garth-gell to loop around Clogau Mountain and past the remains of the Clogau gold mine, returning via the Figra Bridge. An alternative lower-level route takes us along the edge of the Mawddach and through the woods to Figra Bridge, looping round via Farchynys on our return.
