We are the Ross-on-Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The morning walk starts at Gorsley Chapel. It is 5.5 miles long and climbs to Linton Church where there are some spectacular views on a clear day. Denise will be leading this walk, but book with Barbara.
In the afternoon the 5.5 mile route around Queens Wood involves less climbing.
Walkers are encouraged to purchase refreshments at the café at lunchtime or the end of the afternoon. Bring a morning snack and plenty to drink. Bring a packed lunch, if walking all day.
The route is not suitable for dogs.
Daffodil Line buses run to Gorsley from Ross and Newent.
