Meet and park at Bolton Gate Car Park at Parkhall Country Park.
Care needed crossing busy roads, walking poles advisable, no stiles, mainly hard tracks, but there may be small sections of underlying water and soft ground.
Winter walking conditions apply.
The morning walk we will weave north to drop down into the rewilding area of Willows Wood and return back on the fringe of the country park.
The afternoon walk we stroll along quiet lanes to Sheepwash & back.
The morning section is 5.5 miles long, the afternoon 3.5 miles.
Midday refreshments at Bolton Gate arts cafe, next to the car park. a range of drinks is available - beer , wine etc.
