Overview

The route first follows the River Yar to Southford, then climbs Week Down, then on to the radio mast on Appledurcombe Down.  This is reportedly one of the best viewing points on the island, not quite as high as Boniface Down but more central on the island. Passing by the Worsley Monument the route then drops down to Appledurcombe House before returning to Godhill.
