The coach will drop walkers in Addingham from where we will cross the suspension bridge over the Wharfe and begin the steady ascent to Langbar and on to the moor at Badgers Gate. We will then go along the edge of the moor where there are good views of Wharfdale and continue crossing the moor before leaving and heading south to Fairy Dell. We will then descend passing Myddleton Lodge and going through Middleton Woods before before rejoining the River Wharfe and crossing the bridge to Ilkley.
The walk is mostly on good paths and tracks. The ascent to the moor is long but not steep and will be taken at a steady pace.
