An abridged version of the recent popular Wednesday caves walk with extra time for locating, discovering and exploring! A 4 ish mile adventure from Norsworthy Bridge to find one previously visited cave and discover 4 others in Norsworthy and Middleworth plantations below Cuckoo Rock. A beautiful route with no obligation to scramble into the caves where I will take those who want to explore ! Picnic lunch along the way and return via Narrator Brook to Norsworthy Bridge. Bring headtorches/torches if you have them. Last cave is more of a scramble and we will omit this if conditions underfoot unfavourable! There is also an option to lead a smaller group there as it is close to main return route.
Mainly paths with two or three wet areas and one short climb to final cave if visited.
