Clearbrook Canter
This will be a brisk 8 mile walk to whet our appetites before the tradition of massed packed lunch and carol singing gathering (with orchestra), now a Plymouth Ramblers tradition. There will be a shorter, slower walk alternative.
We shall walk from Clearbrook to Buckland Monachorum and then back via the Dartmoor Way to Clearbrook village hall for carols and conviviality with a roof!
There are numerous stiles, uneven ground and mud pretty well guaranteed for this walk.
Christmas jumpers and hats welcomed.
As you proceed along the Clearbrook road (off the A386) DRIVE PAST the leat car park, turn RIGHT and the car park is on the right. The leat car park is too full of potholes so I have now chosen this car park a few yards away.
