Overview

Autumn colours in the heavily wooded hills south of Bath.
From the picturesque village of Freshford, along the Avon and over the hill through Limpley
Stoke to the valley through which flows the Midford Brook. Culminating in (hopefully)
extensive views towards the Wiltshire Downs

Walk Start: 10.30 outside Freshford Community Café, BA2 7UR, grid ref. 786600. Car parking: In Freshford Lane between the Community Café and the primary school or in other nearby roads in the village centre. The café is between the A36 and Freshford primary school. (There is a car park next to the Community Café/ Memorial Hall but it probably would not be appropriate to park there for the duration of the walk as it can be quite busy).
