Overview

It is possible to do these 2 hills and 2 others to the south as a 4 but that invloves a 5.5 km walk back down the bike path and is perhaps best left to younger faster walkers (such as myself in January 1984). The planned walk involves an elegant loop up the ridge (nothing dramatic) to the summit of Geal Charn, drop to a col, ascend A' Mharconaich and descend by it's north-east ridge to the start point. We are following the route in the SMC book. We should be back in Linlithgow by 6pm.
