We are the Portsmouth Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a flat LINEAR walk beginning at the Chichester canal basin. We walk alongside the canal to Hunston where we cross over the road to walk towards Church Farm and St. Leodegars Church where we have coffee stop. Walking along farm tracks and across one field to all the Fisher Farm buildings, continuing along lanes and cycle tracks to a field of cows that belong to Carolines Dairy at Chalder Farm. Passing through Chalder Farm to finish at the Anchor Pub, Siddlesham. Opposite the Anchor is the Stop for the no. 51 bus that runs every 15 minutes to take us back to Chichester.
Meeting point is at the Chichester canal basin where there are cafes and toilets. A short walk from the train station and the bus station and car parks.
We finish by the Anchor Pub, Siddlesham where we have the option of a drink in the Pub garden before we catch the no. 51 bus across the road to take us back to Chichester. The no. 51 bus runs every 15 minutes.
