The circuit of the hills above Glen Striddle- to Beinn Dubh makes an excellent hike, weather permitting ! The ascent will be via the grassy ridge rising from Luss with great views over Loch Lomond and towards the Arrochar Alps .
The descent from the summit starts off flat, Then becoming steep on the way down to the road, into Glen Luss for the return.
Some parts can be boggy in places depending on the weather :- So Poles and gaters should be consideration.

Unfortunately Toilets are also Chargeable 50p
By public transport: Luss is easily accessible from Glasgow and central Scotland by coach, as Citylink operates several daily journeys that take under an hour. Alternatively take the train to Balloch and from here hop on the McGills bus service (number 305/306) to Luss.
By car: Luss is easily accessible by car via the A82 from Glasgow and it takes approx. 40 minutes/28 miles to get there
