A classic walk on well established paths, using the indirect route approaching the top from the north, from the path junction at NN294048. A more demanding steady challenge speed is also available, set as 'The Cobbler as a steady challenge hill walk'
This walk is a long slow uphill trek from Succoth past the Narnain Boulders to the path junction separating the direct harder scramble from the longer easier approach to the summit from the north. The easier approach is taken to suit those with stamina but not speed.
