This walk starts from the Kingsmeadow car park in Peebles, goes a short distance downstream along the Tweed River, follows tracks and paths through Glentress Forest with fine views of the town and Tweed Valley and returns along the river bank.
If you would like to join us, please contact the Walk Leader to book a place in advance, noting that for some walks places may be limited. Please advise the Walk Leader of any issue that may affect your ability to complete the walk.
Also, if you have one, please remember to bring your ICE card with you; or, if you don’t have one, a note of your proposed emergency contact name and number will be required in case of emergency.
Conditions underfoot could be muddy in places so wear suitable footwear - walking boots, poles and gaiters are recommended, if you have them.
Please note that, unfortunately, we don't accommodate dogs on our walks.
