Overview

From “The Street” Peak District Car Park, we head out towards Fernilee Reservoir, following its western shore and into the Goyt Valley through Normanwood. At Madscar farm we head west and start our ascent past Overton farm and up to Taxal Edge. Here we walk past Windgather Rocks and onto Pym Chair. Crossing the road, we follow the ridge past Oldgate Nick up to Cats Tor and further on to Shining Tor. From the peak we descend back into the valley to Errwood Reservoir, crossing Shooters Clough Bridge and back to the Car Park.
