Overview

A 7.25 mile walk starting from Mam Nick Car Park (NT) with 1600ft of ascent.

Route: Mam Tor & Great Ridge past Hollins Cross & Back Tor to Lose Hill. Then down to Castleton and up to Broken Road and back to car park. There are 3 ascents which we will take our time over.

Note postcode takes you past carpark and into Castleton….. carpark is close to turning for Edale. Carpark tends to be busy for sunrise and then again late morning so is usually plenty of spaces at 10 am. There is free parking on the road but make sure you use dedicated parking as traffic wardens are zealous.
