Overview

Walk details – Snake path, Twenty trees, Shooting lodge, to the base of William Clough. Steep ascent of 900 feet on to Kinder Plateau, Kinder downfall then on to Kinder trig point. We then descend via Edale Cross and Tunstead Clough Farm back into Hayfield.

Risk assessment – Rough terrain so boots not shoes needed. Can be muddy in places. Stream crossing required and a short element of road walking
