Overview

Departing from Tilberthwaite car park NY30538 01100 at 09:00.

Walk will be led by Philip B.

We ascend Wetherlam Edge (with some steep rocky scree which may well be slippery) via Birk Fell Man and then Prison Band to Swirl How. We then move on to explore the  tops of Grey Friar, with views towards the Scafell range. The descent is by Hell Gill Pike and Wet Side Edge looking over the delightful Greenburn Beck.
