Overview

A flat walk along the Thames from Greenwich Station (which has toilets) via the Thames to London Bridge. (Note Cutty Sark DLR station is closed). We will go past Cutty Sark if anyone wants to join us there instead (wait near the Greenwich Foot Tunnel South by 11:10). We will walk past dockyards, historic buildings and wharves. We will go through Russia Dock woodland with an optional 60 step climb to Stave Hill viewpoint for some wonderful views of Canary wharf and the city. Lunch stop is at a petting zoo with light snacks available (you might like to bring a picnic, they only have croissants, pasties, toasties and cakes). The cafe has toilets. We then continue past Rotherhithe and Tower bridge, the walk ends at London Bridge station. There'll be plenty of opportunities for photographs.
